Spring Forward

Remember to set your clocks forward a hour on March 12,2013.
Children may have difficulty adjusting to the time change. We can help our children by using a few technique to help them adjust.
"Splitting Difference"-The first few days you can adjust your child’s schedule by a half hour, as if time changed by only a half hour on those days.  After your child adjusts to that change, then adjust the final half hour and you’ll be on your way.
Or if you have a early riser than you don't have to do anything!!

Health and Science Center

Learning safety first:

Fireman Steve visited our classroom to share how to be prepared for severe weather.  During the visit we had a severe weather drill.

Tasty Alternatives!!
We are learning it is healthier to use more herbs and spices instead of salt to flavor our food.  We have been growing herbs to take home. We invite you to try our thyme, rosemary, and/or sage!
